That being said, you're right. There is no better time to start a small business than right now. It's what makes the economy run, and there are plenty of opportunities. This is especially true for the freelancer. I have clients all over the world, and my business has barely noticed this little bump in the road. My dear friend who works in the housing appraisal industry isn't so fortunate, because his business is tied to a local market. “There’s an opportunity knocking at your door.
